About Me
My name is Natalie Rubel a senior at Henry Ford II High School in sterling heights Michigan.

I have been involved in journalism since my freshman year of high school. Where I have held the role of People Editor, Photographer, Business Manager, Assistant Editor, and Editor In Chief. Holding all of these positions has taught me many things along the way whether it was learning from past editors and chiefs, the classes I have taken at MIPA, or even just listening to what my peers have to say. Although journalism has played a major role in my life, I wouldn't be the person I am today without my family and my teachers who have gotten me to this point.

Along with being the editor and chief of the yearbook I have been involved in many extra circulars at my school. I have been involved with my school's key club since my freshman year attaining leadership roles as Historian, Secretary, Vice president, and this Year President where i lead student is community service activity to give back to the community. I have also been an active member of my student council, girls' varsity bowling, DECA and national honors society.

On top of all of my involvement in school, this past semester I have taken the position as a Community Relations Intern for Utica Community school which is the second largest school district in the state of Michigan where I have written stories about current events, drafted press releases, designed promotional materials, and even had the chance to schedule and promote an event on Channel 4, also known as Click on Detroit.

With all of these amazing experiences I can truly say that I am a journalist.
