Student life is filled with unforgettable moments, from the excitement of Friday night lights to the camaraderie of school fundraisers. Football games bring the school together, with the roar of the crowd, the rhythm of the marching band, and the energy of the sidelines creating an electric atmosphere. Beyond the field, fundraisers unite students, teachers, and families in a shared mission to support clubs, sports, and activities. Whether cheering under the stadium lights or working together for a cause, these experiences build school spirit, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories that define high school life.
Reflection-2024 Executive
At our school, we have been creative in finding ways to raise money. This event was one of my favorites because all week leading up to the event one of our associate principals and senior English teacher were going to compete against one another, and to everyone's surprise, the English teacher won but not without the help of her students who jumped in for her once she couldn't eat anymore. This photo captures the true high school experience.
Reflection
I had never had the opportunity to take photos of homecoming until my junior year, which ended up being my only time getting to capture the cowing of the queen due to my own opportunity to be on homecoming court for my senior year. Looking back at this photo made me realize how great of an opportunity it is to not only capture the moment but one day be in the moment myself.
Reflection
homecoming is a great place to see the student body come together to root for their school. You can truly capture the school spirit that by coming to that game in particular. Even though I wasn't in the crowed experiencing it the way the student body was I wouldn't have done it any other way than being on the field. From the field you experience not just how the crowd acts but also how the athletes are feeling. By being on the field, you feel all of the emotion and can capture the moment from all angles.
Reflection
Knowing that not only our school but our community can come together to support a cause really shows that we are HUMAN. This moment was special because the girl on the right was rising awareness for ALS, due to her grandfather on the left being diagnosed. This captured their relationship and the community coming together to raise awareness for a cause that effects so many people.

This year I had the opportunity to take my friends senior photos. It was great experience because I got to see my friend all glammed up. This taught me the use of angles and working with the lighting during the most changing hours. By having the light changing I decided to shoot in manual which allowed me to control more aspects of the photo.
